Great news! My new fitness, paradise home!

Greetings fitness and wellness seekers:

Yes, it’s been a while since my last post, my apologies, but I have been very busy with my new position as the Executive Group Fitness Director at the beautiful Powerhouse Gym Elite in Novi MI. SO EXCITED!!

This beautiful facility is located directly across the street from the Twelve Oaks mall in the beautiful Fountain Walk. It is also conveniently located right off of the I-96 expressway at the Novi, Walled Lake exit. This place is 60,000 square feet of amazing bliss; brand new weights and machines- that go on and on- basketball court, racquetball courts, juice bar, private women’s area in the upstairs mezzanine, tanning, locker rooms and showers, private men’s and women’s sauna, a beautiful  lap pool with aqua fitness classes, jacuzzi, and three studios- a cycle, main group fitness and a mind body studio, for yoga and the likes. I am in heaven! Group Exercise is really my passion and I decided just yesterday, that I will indeed continue to teach folks in a group until I am six feet under. I would like the words, “she did it until her last earthly day” engraved on my tomb stone, please! Even though I am taking new personal training clients in this facility; (in addition to teaching group) it truly is moving in a group- and motivating people in the community spirit- that makes me most fulfilled in my work. That and hiring and training new talent! We have an amazing schedule of classes and new instructors and will be increasing the classes in December and January 2012.

I have just added: BODY on the BALL, Bike and burn,  Aqua TKO, CORE N More, Muscle Xpress, the new Les Mills class, CSWORX, Body Bar Ballet, and I am currently teaching the newly added, Cardio PUMP IT, every Monday and Wednesday at 9:15am. Feels good to be back home!
