About Dena Raptis, Owner of Fit Enterprises

Dena Raptis has been passionately involved in the fitness and wellness industry and helping others to empower themselves to lead healthier lifestyles for over thirty years. Dena started teaching “aerobics” (as it was called back in the day) at the age of fifteen, in a neighbor’s basement. Her professional career began at Silhouette American Health spas in the heart of Detroit Michigan and quickly expanded to co-owning a successful dance/fitness, personal training and martial arts studio in the Boston area. Dena has also been the Group Exercise Department Head and Master Instructor Trainer for Life Time Fitness. Today she is Founder and Owner of FIT Enterprises.

Dena has done it all. Whether it is developing, continuing education workshops for the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, (AFAA) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE), teaching a variety of successful,  group exercise classes, aqua and yoga, consulting for a variety of needs for existing health clubs and start ups, corporate fitness and wellness, personal one on one training, working with autistic, downs syndrome and other mentally challenged individuals, children, seniors, post rehab, back, shoulder and knees, her dedication to providing the most safe, effective and fun programs knows no end.

Dena is proud to be the developer of  No Frills Instructor Training (NFIT) to assist other in becoming certified Group Exercise Instructors.
